After being plagued by rabid fans to release the songs that had only previously been heard on tour, V.O.D. compiled For the Bleeders as the band’s way of saying thanks to the fans. Those that have heard the album were instantly floored and later complained about premature graying.

Hailing from Long Island and heavier than GoKart’s own Murray the Cat, VOD signed to Roadrunner 4 years after forming. They released 2 immensely succesul records for the label, Vision of Disorder and Imprint, which have sold almost 100,000 copies. Their popularity helped get them on tour with such established acts as Sepultura, Sick of it All, and Machine Head. The band has also done some Ozzfest shows, where they had the oppurtunity to blow most of the other bands back to the stoneage.

For the Bleeders is VOD’s first record for Go-kart and will cement the band’s reputation as not only one of the hardest working bands in hardcore, but just plain one of the hardest.
