 March 2005 saw the birth of Damn Arms .
After the demise of Snap! Crakk! , Tim, Yama and Simon started writing together in search of a 4th member. With the miraculous befriending of Ian Jackson [guitar], Damn Arms ' line up was set.
Without prior discussion or writing they jumped straight into rehearsing four times a week, riffs & progressions slowly emerging from hours of improv jams to be later crafted into structured song.
2 and 1/2 months later an initial set was written & live shows started with writing & jamming continuing at the same pace.
The product of this lunacy? Four skinny, sun shunning white kids, all playing music the way they want, though scarily sounding like they've melted their brains together to create one united sound. Live they play with their hearts on their sleeve, an air of brotherly love & a contagious urgency/energy. Showing influences from a myriad of genres & absorbing from likely more than you knew existed, they've effectively poured their molten brains through their instrumental mediums to create something special.
Already snagging international supports after 2 shows & with national tours booked into next year, Damn Arms basically don't plan to stop until it's a physical impossibilty.
