This is how two of the UK's most influential music mags, MOJO & KERRANG!, described the Hot Snakes Peel Sessions recording late last year, which was also to be the last official Peel Session broadcast before the recent passing away of DJ legend, John Peel.
It captures the Hot Snakes at their finest, doing what they do best - playing their songs with the visceral energy that has made them so notorious across the live music scene.
Hot on the heels of the recently released, and critically acclaimed Audit In Progress album, come the band's new Peel Sessions album which, in turn, brings the band to Australia for their first ever tour.
Hot Snakes are bi-coastal, down-stroke enthusiasts! A deviant throb of wailing gits, bombastic low-end tinkering, jet propelled drums and swarthy vocals. Maudlin punk at it's finest.
Hot Snakes are a blast of thick air amongst the current brown swell of watery pap. They are ministers of high velocity turbulence and aren't afraid to beat a note to death.
Whether it's revelling in the highest DSPM (down-strokes per minute) ratio available on modern wax or simply committing minor offences of originality, the band is dedicated to having fun with what tools they have before them. Deafening and damaging dubious deeds done at a decibel distorting degree. Ugg!
Featuring members of Rocket From The Crypt & Drive Like Jehu, and with influences such as Groundhogs, Suicide, Flamin' Groovies, Crime, Michael Yonkers, Turkish Psychedelic & Asian acid blues creeping into their music, and with audiences all over the northern hemisphere scrambling for words to describe the "pissed power" they have just witnessed as they walk out after a live show, already these shows are unmissable.

The Tremors released their debut album, "Cash Up Front, No Kissing", last year to critical acclaim and national radio play. They toured like crazy, upset a few people, pleased even more people and spread their disease all over the country. They don't get to tour all that often, but when they do they bring it!!!
GRAND FATAL, hot off the national tour with Grinspoon & Shihad and with the new single "Chaser Eraser" sitting nicely in the top end of the Australian Independent charts, they will be joining the fun for these three shows before taking some well earned time off.
